Wisdom Passed Down Through the Years

Recently I have been in quite a retrospective mood. A friend advised Me about this site almost a year ago and as is My tendency, I forgot how to access and even forgot about it totally...until this week. With looming changes on the horizon and the possibility of slowing down My frenetic pace, express and share My thoughts and ideas more fully ,I thought it would be a good tool to exercise My writing skills, long confined by professional requirements to terse, concise models of supreme brevity. Oh yes, I can wax quite long and poetic in a personal email, but asking Me to do anything beyond those impassioned communiques is quite futile.

This first Blog is about the pearls of wisdom given Me, by elders, by wonderful people I've met along the way, by those who shared and didn't know I kept their thoughts for My own use. As time progresses, I'll revert to this first blog, to edit, update and capture more of these pearls of experience. Many of these pearsl came from My Father, but to improve the understanding, I've dressed them up in more of the univeral English rather than the staccato English of the hill country of western Virginia.

Here ,the journey begins!

I'll leave the interpretation to the reader.

1-One must learn to see around corners
2-Buy your umbrellas on a sunny day
3-Follow the money trail, to understand the motivation and intent of those with whom you are dealing. They'll never veer too far from that trail.
4-If you're not a part of feeding Me, loving Me or My bloodline, you don't really count
5-Although I've walked every step of My journey, many have guided My steps.
